SWADHARM-YOGA

Swadharm Yoga is an initiative where we are integrating various treatments like Yoga therapy, Naturopathy, and also modern medicine to treat a patient holistically. In this initiative, we are mainly focusing on Mental health, psychiatric diseases, and lifestyle disorders.

So, let us understand more about Swadharm yoga.

What is Swadharma?

The word dharma in Sanskrit, derived from धारयति इति धर्मः (Dharayati iti dharma), means "that which upholds, sustains, and uplifts.

In this context, swadharma refers to one's duty to sustain oneself. It involves understanding our true needs at the physical, mental, and intellectual levels. Sustaining ourselves means maintaining both our body and mind in a balanced way throughout life. The foundation of a balanced and healthy body and mind lies in understanding the dharma—the natural principles and responsibilities—of both the body and the mind.

Let's see what Swadharmyoga provides

Understanding the body, its natural constituents, and how to maintain them

The human body is a complex structure, and gaining a deep understanding of how it functions can be challenging. While significant knowledge exists regarding body physiology, each individual is unique. Every person is born with a distinct prakruti (inherent nature), which influences their development and actions throughout life. At Swadharm Yoga, we recognize that personalized treatments based on an individual’s unique nature are essential for effective healing.

Helping patients understand this concept can lead to faster recovery. Swadharm Yoga employs a range of therapies such as yoga asanas, individualized diets, purification practices (kriyas), and specific medications when needed. By integrating these therapies, we aim to optimize blood parameters, hormonal balance, and overall body chemistry. This holistic approach is particularly beneficial in managing conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and hypertension.

Understanding the Harmony Between Nature and Our Body

Our body is deeply connected to nature. Changes in nature, whether daily or seasonal, affect our body, prompting it to adjust its functions accordingly. This natural adaptation is known as biorhythm. Following a proper biorhythm is essential for maintaining healthy bodily functions. When an individual's sleep, diet, physical activity, and rest are not in sync with nature’s day-night cycle, the body experiences chronic stress, reducing its ability to recover from damage. Over time, this imbalance can lead to disease.

At Swadharm Yoga, we not only work to correct disrupted biorhythms but also support patients in aligning their lifestyle with the natural rhythms of their body for optimal health.

Understanding the Concept of Diet and How It Maintains Our Body

The body is composed of the panchmahabhuta (five elements), and in each individual, these elements manifest in unique combinations, which we refer to as their prakruti (inherited nature). When an individual follows a healthy lifestyle and a balanced daily routine, these qualities are maintained. However, when the individual consumes an unbalanced diet, the body's natural equilibrium deteriorates, leading to the onset of various diseases.

At Swadharm Yoga, we identify the unique qualities in each person and prescribe a diet that helps correct any imbalances in the body. This personalized approach allows us to achieve optimal results at the physical level, promoting overall health and well-being.

Understanding Energy Balance

All activities in our body are governed by energy (prana). A continuous and free flow of this energy is essential for the healthy functioning of the body. However, poor diet, inadequate sleep, and excessive stress can disrupt this energy flow, leading to the development of diseases.

At Swadharm Yoga, we help restore and balance the energy flow through practices such as pranayama and other breathing techniques, enabling individuals to overcome their health challenges and promote overall well-being.

Understanding and Balancing Thoughts and Emotions

Controlling the mind is one of the greatest challenges, and many of us struggle with it. This lack of control often leads to distress over small events or situations. At Swadharm Yoga, we focus on helping patients gain a clear understanding of their mind, thoughts, and emotions. This self-awareness alone can solve 50% of mental health-related issues. Through techniques such as meditation and yogic counseling, we help individuals gain control over their thoughts, preventing them from negatively impacting their mental well-being.

Swadharm Yoga offers a unique, integrative approach to health that bridges ancient wisdom with modern therapies. By focusing on the individual’s unique nature, we address health on multiple levels—physical, mental, and emotional. Through a balanced approach involving yoga therapy, naturopathy, modern medicine, and personalized lifestyle changes, we help individuals build resilience, restore harmony, and achieve lasting wellness.

Our goal is not only to treat but also to empower individuals to understand and care for their health. By aligning their bodies, minds, and lifestyles with nature’s rhythms and their own inherent qualities, they can lead healthier, more balanced lives. Swadharm Yoga is more than a treatment—it’s a journey toward holistic well-being and self-discovery.
